Creating a hot chocolate charcuterie board is so much fun for both kids and adults. Holiday charcuterie boards have become my thing. If you have never made one, give it a try. I promise it’s not as intimidating as it looks.

How to create a Hot Chocolate Charcuterie Board
Choose a Board
You will need to decide if you want a round, square, or rectangle tray. You will also need to decide on the size. Depending on how many people you are serving and what goodies you are serving will determine the size you will need. You can find boards at TJ Maxx, Target, and even Walmart.
The board I am using here is from TJ Maxx. I love the style of it.
Hot Chocolate
You can make your favorite hot chocolate recipe. Crockpot, stovetop, or microwave.
Toppings
These are just some ideas on what you can add to your board. The options are endless. I found everything for my board at Aldi.
- Peppermint Sticks
- Rolled Wafer Cookies
- Marshmallows mini and regular
- Tree Marshmallows
- Holiday Star Cookies
- Gingerbread cookies
- Peppermint pretzels
- White chocolate pretzels
- Chocolate covered candies
Holiday Mugs
Using a fun holiday mug makes your hot cocoa taste even better. Just kidding, but it is more fun. I found mine from Target. They always have a cute selection of holiday cups.
