First, I want to apologize for this being so late. I guess better late then never said my mom who is sometimes Always late. 😉 My Friday Favorite is the LesMills Body Pump Workout. Have you heard of this? Many gyms offer a Body Pump class. It is very popular. Unfortunately there wasn’t a gym close enough for me that offered a class. After some research I learned Beach Body sold an at home kit with the DVD’s. I was thrilled! I like doing weights but always feel uncomfortable in the gym because the machines are always being used by men. Lots of them. The gym I am a member of is open 24/7 so I thought that would help me get in there and use the machines on a less busy time. Umm no. Seems they are always there. I tried for a couple months but then decided I was done with that. Now that I have the Body Pump Program I am able to do the workouts in my own home. It comes with 7 DVD’s, a barbell, two 5 lb and 10 lb weight plates. I really want to tone and build muscle. Believe me when I say you will feel the burn!! I have decided to challenge myself with this for the next 30 days. Anyone else doing a similar challenge? It’s so nice when you have someone to hold you accountable. 🙂 Today I did the Pump Extreme and my shoulders and arms are already sore. So here’s to Day 1.
