It’s time for an update and some Q&A with the Faster Way to Fat Loss Program. A new round is getting ready to start and I knew I needed to share some of my most recent results and where I am now as well as my most common Q&A. I answer emails and private messages daily about the program. I love helping others who are wanting to become healthy and fit. It’s probably what I would do full time if I wasn’t already a full-time blogger. Struggling with my weight is something I have been very open about on the blog. I was once overweight, unhealthy, unmotivated and just blah. SO believe me when I say, I have been there.

If you have been following me for a while you know I am super passionate about the Faster Way to Fat Loss program! It has literally changed my entire health and fitness game. Before starting the program I considered myself healthy and fit. It wasn’t until I started the FWTFL program I realized I actually really wasn’t. I wasn’t eating the correct number of macros to coincide with my workouts.
Now I am going to answer some of the most common Question I get asked. For some of you, this may be a repeat, but, for some, this is vital information.
My Most Common Q&A’s
Faster Way to Fat Loss is an online 6-week fitness and nutritional program that focus on Intermittent fasting, Carb Cycling, and Tracking Macros. Amanda Tress is the creator of this magnificent program. She’s brilliant!
I need to lose at least 50 pounds. Is this program for me?
YES! This program works with many types. If you need to lose 1o pounds or even 5o pounds, this program can work for you.
It’s been a long time since I’ve worked out. How difficult are the workouts?
No problem. You can do this! The program has a beginner workout option as well as an at home or at the gym option. You will receive exercises via an online portal for 5 days per week and 2 rest days. You can pull the portal up on your phone and even print the workout if desired. The workouts are written out and each move is linked to a video demonstration. The video demonstrations are so helpful. Do what You can. Seriously, if you can’t finish the full workout, it’s okay. You will get there. And if you can’t work out all 5 days, that’s okay too. You are NOT expected to spend hours in the gym. FASTer Way to Fat Loss is big into nutrition and the workouts will only help maximize your results. Follow me on Instagram to see some of the exercises in my stories.
How do you make time for the workouts?
I make it a priority. Plain and simple. No one is going to do it for you. It’s up to you and only you. If you are ready for a change, you will make the time. Don’t get me wrong, I have days I miss. And when I do, I know that tomorrow is a new day and a new start.
How long do the workouts take?
Some workouts may only take 30 minutes and some are closer to 45 – 60 minutes. There are days where you will use weights and some days will incorporate HITT exercises. Follow me on Instagram to see some of the exercises in my stories.
What are Macros?
Macros are your protein, carbs, and fats. Each day you will use MyFitnessPal app to keep track of your Macros. This app will allow you to add your food and it will calculate your Macros for you. Don’t let this overwhelm you, once you get started it will start to make sense.
Do you actually Fast?
Yes, it’s called intermittent fasting. This will help you burn fat while developing muscle. I break my fast at noon every day and then have my dinner by 7 every night. So I have an 8-hour eating window and 16-hour fasting window. It’s not as hard as it may sound. And you can adjust your eating window to what works best with your schedule.
Do I need a Gym Membership?
No, you don’t. Each week you are given three sets of exercises. One for home, another for the Gym and one for Beginners. So if you just started working out, it has you covered. Don’t forget you will also be able to see a demonstration for each move in the online portal. I no longer workout in the gym nor have a personal trainer. I strictly workout at home doing the Faster Way to Fat Loss workouts.
What equipment do I need?
All you really need is a set of 5, 8 and or 10 lbs. dumbells. And maybe a yoga mat. That’s optional. I have wood floors in my living room, so I like to have a mat for floor exercises.
What do you eat each day?
Let me start out by saying I eat more now than I ever did before the program. Most days I can’t even meet my macros because I am legitimately full. Monday and Tuesday are low carb days so one of my favorite things to eat is salads, my egg casserole, low carb chicken cauliflower rice, Philly stuffed pepper (recipe coming soon). I eat roasted Brussel sprouts every day. I also have a protein, vegetable and a healthy fat at each meal. On regular macro days, I eat things like fish tacos, my healthy taco bake, salmon BLT, an egg sandwich and my Black Bean Quinoa Burger. I also eat fish a couple times a week. I love fish. I also have FWTFL recipes I’ve created especially for FWTFL followers. You can see it here. I am adding more recipes each week.
I drink a kombucha every day. I also drink a BCAA powder mixed with Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides.
Can I have wine?
This is still my most asked question and rightfully so. The answer is Yes! If you follow me on my Instagram stories you know my love for wine. You will need to add it into your macros. Also, I drink white wine which is actually low in carbs. That’s a win for me. I try to have my wine on regular macro days.

Why I Love this program.
It’s made for real people who want real results. This program is a Lifestyle that allows flexibility as well as cheat days. You are not restricted from carbs. This is not a fad diet, it’s actually a way of living a healthy lifestyle while still being able to enjoy the foods we like. I like to call it Balance. I do enjoy treats, carbs and my wine while leading a healthy and fit lifestyle. All in moderation, of course.
Now let’s see the Before and After photos. I recently went on vacation and I wore a bikini… in public.. for the first time since having kids! And I felt comfortable and confident! I can’t even describe in words how this felt. Last summer I had a difficult time wearing a one piece in public and this year I was wearing a two-piece on the beach.
My before and after 16 weeks. I am stronger and leaner than I have ever been. Let’s just say I had to buy new clothes this summer. That is such a great feeling.

How do you space out the macros? If Monday and Tuesday are low carb(what’s co side red low carb macro?) then which days are considered regular macro(50/30/20?)? Is the 24 hour fast truly 24 hours without food? How do you adjust the exercise to the macros? You are truly motivation!!! You look amazing
