If you follow me on any of the social networks you probably know I am passionate about health and fitness. Now with that said let me clarify, I am not a personal trainer. I am a stay at home mom/blogger who loves connecting with other moms. I know being a mom can make it hard to focus on yourself. All of your energy is given to everyone else. You are last to eat, last to shower and last to bed. But making time for yourself is so important. It will make you a better mom, spouse and person. So just know it IS possible to workout at home even it’s for ten minutes. Stop making excuses and do it. It will seriously change your life for the better. Be dedicated, be determined and be consistent. Connect with me on on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
Note: This is my personal workout routine. I am not a nutrition specialist, personal trainer or a physician.

I love this workout! I’m such a fan of quick & easy workouts, because you’re right, most Mom’s are always the last for everything, and health & fitness can easily get on the back burner.

Okay Amy. I have a question for someone much older than you but I’m going to ask anyway. I was always a skinny minnie but now that I’m in my 50’s I have major belly bulge. Even though I’ve lost from 134 lbs to 119 (I’m only 5’3) I can’t get rid of the thick belly. Is it possible or because of my age do I just have to live with it? If it’s possible any suggestions food & exercise wise on how to lose it. I can pretty much eat anything I want without gaining lbs but I hate my tummy. It’s summer and I’d like to be less self-conscious. (^^^)

Hi Tracy, The stomach area is one of the most difficult areas to lose. I will say with “clean eating”, by eliminating processed foods and such, will definitely help . Start eating fresh vegetables and fruits and staying away from sugar/white flour can make that stomach fat go down. When I stay away from processed foods and breads and sugar, I lose in my stomach first thing. Give it a try I think you will be amazed! That would be my personal advice to you. 🙂
