Hi, I’m Jessica! I hang out over at Fantabulosity, my blog where I share what’s going on in my crazy life as a mother of two young boys and a wife of a super busy Real Estate Developer. When I’m not busy being the CFO of our family business, chasing my kiddos around, or out on a date with the hubby… I LOVE to entertain and throw parties. I’ve thrown and designed anything from a birthday party for my toddler, to a fiesta housewarming party for some dear friends! You name it… I’ll throw it. When I was talking to Amy about coming here and doing a guest post, I KNEW it should be something party related. Then… my creative juices started flowing, and party themes started popping in my head. Who doesn’t love a FRESH party theme idea!? Ready for my ideas? Let’s go…
- Bugs {My 3 year old boy would KILL for a bug themed birthday party}
- Garden {I picture a birthday party, where the little guests can pick (toy) garden items and take them home as favors for their play kitchens! Eeeek!}
- Flowers {Perhaps a little girls party theme, where bright colored flowers are EVERYWHERE!}
- Art {Where you have tons of activities where they can color, paint, clay art, etc., and can take their creations home as favors!}
- Pet Adoption {Decorate with puppies and kittens, and have stuffed animals as party favors that the guests can take home with them, to say they’ve “adopted,” a puppy or a kitten.}
- Chef {Have cooking related activities for them to do. I’ve thrown a baking/cupcake party, and I think a chef related theme, would be a great spin-off idea!}
- Dance {This could be a party with a dance floor and constant music playing, like a school dance atmosphere! The kids would tire out quick with this one I bet!}
- Beach {If you live in the midwest like I do, this theme could be a lot of fun for your guests. Have a sandbox to build sand castles, and of course incorporate water for the kiddos to get wet!}
- Baby Doll {My 8 year old niece would go bonkers over a baby doll themed party. All of her little friends could bring a baby doll, and they could play “house,” and have a “mommy play date,” while their babies “play.” You could have little areas set up with baby cribs, strollers, and so much more.
- Tractor/Farm {I envision the party to be decorated with tractors and other farm related goodies, and possibly have a hay-ride to end the evening! Depending on how extravagant you wanted to be… maybe bring in a pony for pony rides too!}
I hope you found a party theme that tickled your fancy! How fun would it be to throw a party that had a theme that you haven’t seen a hundred times already!!!?? I’d love for you to come over to see the parties that I have planned in the past, at http://fantabulosity.com/parties Thanks Amy for letting me chat with your followers! XOXO
