Hello again! My name is Bethany from Southern Couture. When Amy asked me to come back over and share another printable and a page in my Bible, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to hang out with y’all.
Last month I shared a vintage bicycle printable scripture card and showed how you can use acrylic paint in your Bible too.
Today I have another fun printable inspired by one of my favorite Christian artists Lauren Daigle. One of my most favorite songs of hers is “Trust in You”. The line of the song that speaks to my heart the most is when it says, “When you don’t move the mountains I’m needing you to move…I will trust in you.”
So many times, I can look back on my life and see times where I had to trust no matter how hard it seemed. I would see mountains that I wanted moved right then and there, but God sees the other side of the mountain and knows what is best for me. (A lot easier to say when you aren’t going through something.)
First print your song lyrics card here.
This printable is one that is simple and is the perfect size to fit into most margins. I printed mine on regular computer paper so it wouldn’t be as thick as cardstock and weigh down the page. Either way is fine though. Attach it using some colorful washi tape.
For this entry I decided to keep my design more simple with this printable and then adding just a few accents with my Faber Castell PITT Artist pens and some colorful markers.
I also like to add emphasis to the verse I’m referencing to using either a colored pencil or pen. This lyric lines up perfectly with Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” ESV
Add your date of entry with the date stamp and a tab to mark the page using a tab punch to finish everything off.
What I love about this printable is that it is not only the perfect size for most margins, but it also would be perfect to use as a bookmark. Print on cardstock and then laminate for durability. I have a small “home use” laminator that I love.
Another great way to use this would also be in your planner. I love to add cards like these to my planner for inspiration and motivation throughout the week.
